David Butler | Mortgage & Protection Adviser

David has been a financial adviser since 1992 and worked with some of the major life assurance, pension and investment companies prior to joining Portlethen Financial Services in 2002.

David holds the Diploma in Financial Planning (Dip PFS), the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate (AFPC) and is a member of the Society of Mortgage Professionals for Mortgage and Equity release advice (Certs (MP & ER).

Harry Bowman | Mortgage & Protection Adviser

Harry established Portlethen Financial Services in 1996 to provide clients with a local financial advice service in Aberdeen and the surrounding area. Harry has worked in financial services since 1986 and has worked for some on the major banks and insurance companies.

Harry holds the Certificate in Financial Planning (Cert PFS) and the Certificate in Mortgage Advice.

Wendy Murray | Administrator

Wendy provides administration support for Harry & David and ensures the smooth processing of all life, critical illness, income protection and home insurance applications.

Wendy joined Portlethen Financial Services in January 2008 having previously worked for another financial advisory firm and held various roles with a leading UK bank.

Louise Smart | Administrator

Louise works in mortgage administration dealing with lenders, surveyors and solicitors to make sure the mortgage offer is issued in time for the completion of your purchase of remortgage. Louise joined Portlethen Financial Services in 2015.

Mike Wood | Administrator

Mike provides mortgage administration dealing with lenders, surveyors, and solicitors to make sure the mortgage offer is issued in time for the completion of your purchase of remortgage. Mike joined Portlethen Financial Services in 2020 having worked in banking and mortgage advice for several years.
